Foods to Choose

PROTEINS
Organic free-range chicken, turkey, lamb, wild fish (tilapia, halibut, salmon, trout, mackerel and other low-mercury fish), RAW nuts and seeds*, nut butters (except peanut), avocado, lentils*, beans*, split peas*, and hummus*

VEGETABLES
Broccoli*, beets, yams, cauliflower*, kale, chard, mustard and collard greens, asparagus, cabbage*, brussel sprouts*, jicama, celery, carrots, cucumber, snow peas, leeks, green beans, zucchini squash, spinach, lettuce, mixed greens, sea vegetables (dulse, nori, kombu, wakame)

GRAINS
Brown rice, quinoa, amaranth, millet, buckwheat, tapioca, oats


*Avoid 36 hours before a colonic session
FRUIT
Berries, apple, banana, kiwi, apricot, mango, pineapple, cherries, papaya, melon, pear, peach, plum, grapefruit, orange, coconut meat

OILS
Coconut, olive, sesame, walnut, pumpkin. Coconut is the best to use when heating at high temperatures.

FERMENTED FOODS
Kefir, goat yogurt, cultured raw vegetables, miso

SWEETENERS
Stevia, agave nectar, honey, molasses

OTHER
Potassium broth, soups, aloe vera, Braggs liquid aminos, sea salt, herbal teas, fresh juices, smoothies, nut and rice milks
REDUCE OR ELIMINATE
All meat (especially red), refined sugar, flour products (pasta, bread, baked goods), all dairy, caffeine, soda, alcohol, marijuana
